Now

What I'm focused on now.

A public snapshot of what has my attention at the moment — what I'm working on, and, just as usefully, what I'm not.

Researching

How AI can serve as a tool for making immersive and interactive storytelling for knowledge transfer — what it speeds up, what it gets wrong, and where the human craft still matters. That work happens at USTP, alongside preparing a doctoral project (planned start 2027) on low-threshold, reusable storytelling for small and medium-sized galleries, libraries, archives, and museums.

Teaching

Animated dramaturgy, game design, and visual communication — plus the occasional school workshop, which is usually where I learn the most.

Writing

Turning scattered research notes and longer essays into pieces I can actually publish at clembaum.com. Slowly chipping away at a memoir and a feature screenplay on the side.

Building

Two calm, static, Markdown-first sites: this one for my work, and clembaum.com for my writing — both easy to maintain and easy to add to. Filling in the rooms one at a time.

Thinking about

What media literacy means when the media can generate itself — and how to talk about AI and culture without hype or doom.

This is a /now page, an idea I borrowed from Derek Sivers.
