About

In short…

I am an Austrian videographer and junior researcher at the University of Applied Sciences St. Pölten. My research involves Media Technology, Storytelling, Virtual Reality, and much more. Click here for my full research profile.

If you are a rich television producer read on:

I’m working with colleagues on a TV show, we have written the first season and produced a pilot. Why not buy it for your TV channel/streaming service? There are worse things to produce a whole season of. Take a look at our Instagram account.

In longer…

As a child, I was scared of never being able to learn to read. What these damn adults did seemed impossible. How can those scribbles mean anything to anybody? When my parents tried to read to me, I left the room. If I had a driving license back then, I would have taken the keys and driven away.

But then, when I did finally learn to read in school, I was hooked. I could not stop reading. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban was the first book I fully read on my own, at the age of 6. I was confused, but intrigued.

(When I read the first two books a bit later, things made more sense for me)

And I was sure about one thing since then: Storytelling is the most fascinating thing in life.

At the age of 13, I saw an episode of Tatort and something suddenly clicked. I saw the image not as a TV show but as something that was shot with a camera. My interest for film has risen.

I did every epic fail a filmmaker has to experience in life: Took acting lessons and realized not being able to act at all? Check. Applied and failed to get into the Film Academy Vienna? Check. Tried to shoot a feature length film without budget nor experience and failing hard, at the age of 18? Check.

After working with filmmakers on smaller and bigger projects and a few years of dipping into the world of live television working as a production assistant, I studied media technology at the UAS St. Pölten. Most recently, I have found my place in scientific research at the very same place.
